(10) Q: My mouse works in Win95, but not in dos. How do I get my mouse to work in dos?
A: Usually, there is a file called 'mouse.exe' in the root directory of your system's harddrive. If you do have it, you can addthe following line in your autoexec.bat file(located in the root directory) and/or the dosstart.bat file(located in the\windows directory):
C:\mouse.exe /f
Now when you restart the
computer in DOS mode, your mouse should work fine.
(9) Q: Can I shut off my computer while I'm working in Windows 95? Is it safe?
A: It is not recommended
to shut the computer power off while working in Windows 95 or Windows 3.1/3.11.There
is a routine that Windows must follow when you shut the system down. If
you don't shut down properly, you may lose valuable information, corrupt
the operating system or even worse, cause the computer not to work at all

desired option of leaving the system. THIS IS THE BEST WAY !!!!
